Garden’s International Trips

world Garden School may be closed for President’s Week but our students never stop learning. This is true especially for a group of 9th through 12th graders visiting three of Europe’s most picturesque cities, Paris, Bruges, and Amsterdam. For this group, it’s the Champs Elysees on Sunday and an afternoon sipping a cafe au lait at a nearby cafe. Then it’s off to the precious city of Bruges with its charming squares and historic buildings before they continue onto Amsterdam and a trip to the Van Gogh museum with art teacher, Ms. Prio.

Another group of 7th and 8th graders prefer the heat of Latin America and will be basking under the Costa Rican sun. Visits to the Parque Nacional Tortuguero and wildlife refuges are also planned. The students will be on top of the world literally as they climb Mount Chirripo, a mountain which is very volcanic but on a clear day, they will see both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans from the top.

Bon Voyage to our students!
