Garden’s Violinist
On Saturday, February 6, Do Hyung “Diana” Kim had a solo violin recital at The Julliard School, where she has been a student for 8 years.
Accompanied by a pianist, but otherwise alone on the great stage of Julliard’s Paul Hall, Diana dazzled her audience with her talent and her obvious love of performing. Diana played Bruch’s “Scottish Fantasy in E-Flat Major Op. 46” and Sarasate’s “Zigeunerweisen Op. 20.”
Diana’s family, friends and music teacher were very proud of her, as were the Garden faculty members – Mrs. Elkind, Mr. Pigman and Ms. Sohmer – who attended the performance.
