GARDEN PTA WELCOME BACK LETTER

Dear Parents and Guardians:

The Garden School PTA welcomes you to a new and exciting school year. One of the things we love most about Garden is its warm, supportive, family atmosphere. The PTA is here to welcome and support existing and new families in our community and, in many ways, our function reflects the fact that we all are an integral part of our children’s educational experiences. The longstanding devotion exhibited by Garden parents and its benefits to our children are incalculable.

Research demonstrates that parent involvement in schools enhances learning. We have attached a copy of an interesting report for your perusal. Our parent/guardian group is made up of talented individuals (with quite talented children!) who are committed to doing wonderful things for the children we love. As you will see in the enclosed PTA Executive Board bio and contact sheet, every member of the PTA Executive Board has made a very serious and well thought out decision, as many of us like you, juggle very busy career schedules with those of our children. We want every parent to know that we are here for you!

Please join us in taking part in the PTA’s efforts this year in any way you can. Any contribution of your time and effort can make our children’s school year one of fun and learning within this vibrant community. A schedule of planned PTA activities is enclosed.
