Garden School’s ROBONEERS came in FIRST PLACE for Robot Design in the First Lego League Competition on January 23, 2010 at Aviation High School. Now they can advance to the NYC First Lego League Championships, a city-wide competition to be held at the Jacob Javits Center on March 14, 2010!
This was their rookie year, and competed against 35 teams representing other private and public schools in Queens. On March 14, they will be competing against other winning teams from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island!
We are very proud of them as they worked hard since last August, meeting twice a week, to develop their presentations and robot design.
